Finally, the long-awaited December holiday is here: time to unwind and rest. Should you be lucky enough to spend the festive season in the beautiful Cape Town and are in need of holiday activities, we thought it well to share some of the projects we worked on this year, which are all suitable and fun to visit during holidays in Cape Town.

Laborie Estate:

The Laborie Estate is at the foot of the beautiful Paarl mountains. Their family-friendly restaurant, Paarl Rock Terrace, promises to be an experience along with possible tapas and wine tastings. Whether it is sipping on a glass of MCC or enjoying their brandy; the Laborie Estate is a definite December holiday destination!

The JNA Thatchers team had the privilege this year to do the maintenance on the thatched roofs of this magnificent estate.

Mont Rochelle Hotel:

The JNA Group served as the main contractor with the original building of the Mont Rochelle Manor House which is a four-bedroom villa on the Mont Rochelle farm, in the legendary Franschhoek. This year we did some renovations and new additions.

At Mont Rochelle you can enjoy excellent wine, a visit to the spa, lunch at the Country Kitchen or a Gourmet dinner with loved ones at the well known Miko.

Babylonstoren:

The famous Babylonstoren is especially well known for its lavish gardens and fresh produce evident in all its restaurant dishes. Visitors can even download the gardening app to learn more about the various plant types. Hotel accommodation, wining and dining, spa treatments and enjoying the surroundings, all form part of the Babylonstoren experience.

Throughout the year, workshops are held focusing on various aspects of gardening. On the 24^th of January, The art of Bonsai will be hosted, while on the 14^th of February a workshop on Water Wise Gardening can be attended.
